90 Day Fiance cast members Hamza Moknii and Memphis Smith have had one of the messiest splits in franchise history. And, between filing for divorce and having their daughter in the middle of everything, the drama isn’t over yet. But, how does Hamza pay the bills since moving to America?
90 Day Fiance: Hamza Moknii Always Wanted to Live in the Big City
Like many 90 Day Fiance celebs that come to America, Hamza Moknii was taken in by the American Dream and the promise of a better life. But, as many Americans know, the reality is often far different from the idealized version you see in the movies.
And, it turns out, living in Michigan wasn’t exactly what Hamza pictured in terms of living it up in a new country. And, Memphis even said that Hamza was unhappy with the small-town life in Michigan and wanted to be in a big city.

TLC Celeb Has Been Living in Chicago
Not long after Hamza Moknii arrived in America, there were problems in his relationship with Memphis Smith. And as viewers that have been following their split know, things got ugly.
Ultimately, Hamza ditched Michigan and has been living in Chicago for quite some time. And, as anyone that lives there knows, it’s not cheap. On average, a one-bedroom apartment can set you back over $1300 a month.
In addition, food costs are also higher in Chicago compared to other cities in the midwest. And even though Hamza is often in pictures with his bicycle, things like a monthly public transportation pass can set you back as much as $75 per month.

How Does 90 Day Fiance Celeb Pay His Bills?
Of course, the big question many 90 Day Fiance fans have is how Hamza is able to afford to live in Chicago without help from Memphis. It turns out, he has made friends in the area, as there are thriving Middle Eastern communities there. So, that’s one thing that can help you out as a single person in the city.
In addition, like many 90 Day Fiance celebs, Hamza leverages his social media following of over 170k users to make money. And while his exact earnings are unknown, he does a lot of paid partnerships with brands to promote products.

In addition, it looks like Hamza has also dabbled in modeling. But, just like with the revenue generated from his social media gigs, it’s not clear how much money he generates from that.
Interestingly, when Hamza and Memphis went through with their divorce, a judge ordered Hamza to pay child support for the daughter they share. And even though Hamza wants that contested with a paternity test, it seems Hamza is making more than enough to live comfortably in Chicago while also paying child support. So, all things considered, he seems to be doing quite well for himself – particularly without Memphis in the picture.
