News of Amy Slaton-Halterman and Michael Halterman calling it quits was such a surprise that most 1000-lb Sisters fans dismissed it as fake news. But, in the time since the news first broke, it has become obvious that the parting of ways is very real indeed.
Even so, one of the things that made this recent split so hard to believe was just how long Amy and Michael have been in each other’s lives. Even before they got married and started filming for TLC, Michael and Amy were involved in one another’s lives. And, even though there were problems, there was also a sense that they’d never part ways.

Amid all the recent relationship drama, baby Glenn hit the eight-month mark on his young journey. And his mother marked the occasion in a memorable way by sharing an update with him.
But, what really got 1000-lb Sisters fans talking was the not-so-subtle shade Amy threw at her estranged hubby while sharing the update on her young son. She added that “mama” and “Gage” and “everyone” loves him. But, she strategically left Michael’s name out of the update.
And, while the majority of fans are glad to see that baby Glenn is doing well as he recently hit his latest milestone, the shade did not go unnoticed among Amy Slaton-Halterman’s followers.

Naturally, many followers express their concern for Amy and all that she is dealing with since her split from Michael Halterman. Indeed, many still can’t believe that the pair called it quits after everything they’ve been through – particularly as they just welcomed a new baby eight months ago.
In addition to that, fans were quick to note the shade thrown Michael Halterman’s way in Amy’s recent update. One fan said the fact that she “intentionally” left Michael out of this baby update “says a lot”.
Meanwhile, fans that were not privy to the split questioned why Michael Halterman was missing altogether from the update. And, naturally, followers were quick to fill those out of the loop in.
Overall, this 1000-lb Sisters situation is certainly one to watch – particularly because there’s no telling how messy it might get.
