90 Day Fiance: Tiffany Franco Seemingly Goes Back & Forth on the Scale
When 90 Day Fiance fans first met Tiffany Franco years ago, she was certainly a lot more heavyset than she appears today. Back then, she moved to South Africa to be closer to Ronald Smith. And as fans have seen, they’ve had a tumultuous, on-again, off-again relationship since.
But now that Tiffany Franco seems to have put her history with Ronald Smith behind her as best she can, 90 Day Fiance fans are curious about her weight loss journey – and, more specifically, how she was able to drop the pounds since TLC first introduced her years ago.
TLC Fans Slam Tiffany for Editing Fail?
Of course, 90 Day Fiance fans have called out Tiffany Franco from the very beginning – particularly those that believe strategic camera angles and clever photo editing are responsible for her slimmer look rather than hard work and changing dietary habits.
And recently, fans didn’t hold back in response to a pic the TLC celeb shared. In the pic, Tiffany wears a form-fitting green number that shows off all of her curves. Even so, followers had a number of negative things to say.
One follower said that there was obvious “photo manipulation” in this most recent update from Tiffany Franco. Moreover, some fans went as far as to suggest that Tiffany had digital clothing edited on her to create the finished picture.
90 Day Fiance Celeb Reveals True Reason Behind Weight Loss?
With so many theories making the rounds as far as what has gone into Tiffany Franco’s weight loss, the 90 Day Fiance celeb recently confirmed what’s behind her success. And according to Ronald Smith’s ex, she went under the knife for weight loss surgery.
According to Tiffany Franco, she went under for VSG surgery, or a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. As is typical with these types of procedures, the size of the stomach is reduced, allowing patients to feel fuller faster and ultimately consume less food.
And, provided patients do everything as recommended by their doctors, it’s possible to lose anywhere from 55 to 75 percent of their excess weight in 18 to 24 months. In addition, patients have to prove that they are committed to their weight loss journey by getting down to a specific weight before they ever go under the knife. And, with Tiffany having the procedure, she certainly did just that.
Still, the aftermath of this type of weight loss surgery also leaves patients with excess loose skin – typically requiring skin removal surgery. In fact, many TLC fans wonder if Tiffany’s loose skin is to blame for making her look the way she does in pictures.
And, one 90 Day Fiance fan noted that when you don’t wear shapewear body suits to hold the loose skin in place, people can “look weird” when doing things like bending forward.
Interestingly, Tiffany Franco claims that she doesn’t have loose skin following her weight loss surgery, But, she does want areas of her body tightened up, including her arms, breasts, tummy, and thighs. So, it’ll be worth watching to see if she gets those things done anytime soon.
