With Andrei Castravet’s 90 Day Fiance future in jeopardy due to his immigration woes, many fans believe Charlie Potthast ratted on his sister’s husband to get him out of the country and out of their lives. But is there any truth to this?
90 Day Fiance: Charlie Potthast & Andrei Castravet’s Long-Standing Beef the Stuff of Legend
When you speak of Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast, you can’t talk about this couple without bringing in the larger family drama in play. And even though Andrei doesn’t get along with Libby’s sisters, that’s nothing compared to how he feels about his wife’s brother, Charlie.
Meanwhile, whether it was the drama in Moldova or the “fight” at the family barbecue, Charlie and Andrei always seem to be one snide comment or “bro” away from coming to blows. But whether or not that animosity would be enough for Charlie to call immigration on Andrei is something that’s hotly debated among 90 Day Fiance fans.

Did Charlie Call Immigration on Andrei?
In reality, it doesn’t take a detective to point fingers at Elizabeth Potthast’s family as far as them being prime culprits behind the plot to get Andrei Castravet deported. As 90 Day Fiance fans have seen, Elizabeth’s siblings have not been shy about admitting to wanting Andrei out of their lives for good – and out of the country.
In addition, Charlie Potthast and his wife have even joked on camera about getting Andrei Castravet deported. So the clues are certainly there to point the finger at Charlie. And while joking about having Andrei deported on camera, some 90 Day Fiance fans even called attention to the husband and wife’s body language – and based on how they carried themselves, many fans believe they are guilty.

On top of all of this, Chuck’s relationship with Andrei Castravet has improved. So, many fans believe there’s lingering jealousy over Chuck taking Andrei under his wing, and over the fact that both men seem to be besties now.
And as 90 Day Fiance fans have seen, Chuck and Andrei even wore matching shirts to therapy. Moreover, even though they wrote it off as a coincidence, it was clear that Charlie wasn’t happy about it.

Charlie & Andrei Still Bitter at the Tell-All
As 90 Day Fiance fans saw in the second part of the Happily Ever After Tell-All, things were still heated as soon as Charlie sat down – as one of the first things he said is that Andrei and Libby are “hypocrites”.
Thickening the plot even more, Charlie said in Tell-All scenes that someone could report Andrei considering how he behaves. And based on the reactions from many 90 Day Fiance fans, they see that as an unintentional admission of guilt from Charlie.

Interestingly, Andrei’s lawyer said that it would be easy for family members to report Andrei to immigration, particularly because it can be done anonymously. In addition, because family members are closer to the situation, the lawyer also insinuated that family members could be seen as more credible, adding weight to the claim because they are closer to the situation in question.
So, even though Charlie and Libby’s other relatives deny calling immigration on Andrei Castravet, many 90 Day Fiance fans think Libby’s family is to blame, regardless of their collective denial. And based on how things went down at the Tell-All, in the eyes of many viewers, Charlie and company didn’t do much to prove their innocence, either.
