Early on in their Married at First Sight season, Derek Sherman and Katie Conrad appeared to click, but they had some basic flaws in their young marriage. Katie knew exactly how she wanted her life to be. Derek, however, exhibited a little more spontaneity than his new wife.
His lofty aspirations were one of the issues that divided Katie and Derek. Derek had a long list of things he wished to accomplish. Because of this, in Katie’s opinion, he was disorganized and lacked direction. On Decision Day, they made the decision to stay together, but by the time the reunion special aired, they had broken up.

When Married at First Sight marriages don’t work out and couples split, there’s interest in knowing who cast members find after – typically on their own. Of course, whether or not they learned anything from going through the process is always a question mark – particularly whether or not they apply what they learned once they’re back out in the wild.
Moreover, it didn’t take Katie Conrad long to find her now-hubby, Brandon Eaves, following her split from Derek Sherman. And, she made a second trip down the aisle with her new spouse. In June 2021, the pair exchanged vows in Tennessee. And not long after that, they announced that they were expecting.
Married at First Sight Celeb Shows Off Growing Baby Bump with Husband
Back in March, Katie Conrad made the announcement to her Married at First Sight fans that she was expecting a baby boy with Brandon Eaves. At the time, she said that her baby boy would arrive in September 2022. And recently, with September not far off, she showed off her growing baby bump in pics.
According to Derek Sherman’s Married at First Sight ex, she and her husband “could not be more excited” and “ready” to welcome their baby boy into the family. In addition, the proud soon-to-be mama added that they would meet their “little guy” in “a few short weeks”.
So if nothing else, this will be something to keep an eye on as Katie Conrad’s due date approaches. And from the looks of it, both husband and wife smile from ear to ear in the recent series of photos. Indeed, with only a few weeks to go, it won’t be long until they get to meet their new family member.
