Fans of the popular TLC program 7 Little Johnstons have followed Alex Johnston’s journey for many years on the TLC show. His parents have been criticized by some fans for babying him excessively. However, based on his most recent updates, it appears that he is significantly coming into his own.
Alex Johnston recently showed off a letter of acceptance to Middle Georgia State University; it turns out. Alex is now a “junior” in high school and a “freshman” in college, thanks to this acceptance. Meanwhile, Alex Johnston’s “dual enrollment” starts in the fall of 2022.

Indeed, Alex Johnston has come a long way over the last few years. And as the youngest member of the 7 Little Johnstons family, he has really come into his own as a young man. And he showed that off in a big way recently.
It turns out, Alex Johnston is officially a junior in high school – and he took a series of pics to mark the occasion, including one with his sister, Emma Johnston. In addition to his first day as a junior, Alex remarked that he has only one first day of school left until he is done with high school for good.
7 Little Johnstons Back for a New Season & More
As fans keeping up with the family know, a new season is coming to TLC in the middle of August. So that’s plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, even though there’s a lot of drama with some of the older children, Alex and Emma seem to be doing their own things.
When Alex Johnston is not busy slaying it academically, he has his own online business as well. Like many of his siblings, Alex has his own Etsy store. And in it, he sells custom, handmade origami pieces. In addition, he even signs some of them.
So if nothing else, Alex certainly finds his footing as he gets closer to adulthood – and it’s something that 7 Little Johnstons fans love to see.
