As 90 Day Fiance fans keeping up with this couple’s storyline know, Kara Bass met Guillermo Rojer while on a trip to the Dominican Republic. Guillermo and Kara fell in love right away and became engaged, but the global pandemic separated them for months.

TLC Pair Tie the Knot
Despite some issues in their 90 Day Fiance relationship, Guillermo Rojer and Kara Bass went through with their wedding and made it official in recent TLC scenes. And that happy day was bittersweet – as Guillermo put flowers on a front row seat in honor of his late brother.
It turns out, Guillermo’s brother, Jose Joaquin, passed before he made it official with Kara Bass. Meanwhile, a lot of 90 Day Fiance fans are curious about what led to his death – especially because the bond the brothers had was obvious.
Indeed, many 90 Day Fiance fans were touched by the way Guillermo chose to honor his brother during his wedding ceremony. And even though Guillermo and Kara seem to be living their best life as a married pair these days, it’s clear the loss of his brother is something Guillermo feels deeply.

What Caused 90 Day Fiance Brother’s Death?
It turns out, Guillermo Rojer’s brother was diagnosed with renal failure. Renal failure is also known as acute kidney failure – which stops the organs from filtering “toxins” from the blood.
Interestingly, the condition is “curable” if the source of the problem is determined – as far as what’s causing the decreased blood flow. But if not, like in the case of Guillermo’s brother, the condition can be fatal.
And, making things worse was the fact that Guillermo couldn’t travel back home to pay his respects and say goodbye to his brother. At the time, he was already on the K1 visa in America. And because of this, he couldn’t travel out of the country.

But, if nothing else, he honored his brother at his wedding. And from the looks of it, Guillermo and Kara live life to the fullest as a married couple. And even though many 90 Day Fiance fans had their doubts about these two, at least so far, they seem to be living their best life as husband and wife.
