The Family Chantel fans have had a lot of tea to sip regarding Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett and their pending divorce. Meanwhile, from the looks of it, Pedro’s master plan to get his mother and sister to America may work after all – even with his divorce from Chantel. So what’s the latest?
The Family Chantel: All About Pedro Jimeno & Chantel Everett’s Divorce
When it comes to The Family Chantel, the scoop of late has been all about Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno’s pending divorce after years of marriage. Indeed, many fans have called for the pair to divorce for years. And now, it’s officially in the works.
In current episodes of The Family Chantel Season 4, viewers noted that Pedro Jimeno was already checked out of the marriage. Meanwhile, with Chantel’s family always in her ear, that has been an issue since the couple first got together. Suffice it to say, the couple finally throwing in the towel was a long time coming, according to most fans.

TLC Exes Already Tied to Other People?
Meanwhile, almost as soon as The Family Chantel divorce news broke, the soon-to-be exes were tied to other people. In Pedro’s case, many viewers suspect he cheated on Chantel with his younger co-worker, Antonella.
And as for Chantel, she has been seen out and about with fellow reality star Rich Dollaz. However, her brother River was quick to dispel the rumors that Chantel and Rich Dollaz are an item. But if nothing else, it could be a stunt to keep fans on the hook in order to secure another season of their spinoff.

The Family Chantel: Did Pedro Jimeno’s Scam Work?
Ever since Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno got together, her family – as well as watchers – accused Pedro of scamming Chantel in order to get himself, his mother, and his sister to America. Meanwhile, with the former couple’s divorce pending, many question if he will still be able to stay in America – let alone get his mother and sister on American soil.
Currently, Pedro Jimeno is a lawful permanent resident of the United States. But in order to petition for his mother and sister to come to America, he would need to naturalize and become a US citizen.
Interestingly, he would still be able to “naturalize” even when he and Chantel divorce. Indeed, the pending divorce has no impact on Pedro’s ability to petition for his family. So if nothing else, it seems his ruse would be complete.

Is TLC Celeb at Risk of Being Deported?
With years of filming for TLC, a real estate career, and his mother and sister in tow, Pedro would have everything he ever wanted. And based on the options available to him – even with his divorce pending – it’s clear he has a path to get his relatives here.
Meanwhile, it appears Pedro isn’t at risk of losing his green card. Because, as a lawful permanent resident, his green card is good for up to 10 years. And it seems he doesn’t have to worry about the possibility of deportation, either.
Certainly, foreign cast members scamming their American partners to get to America is a hot topic every season. And based on the options available to Pedro, even without Chantel in the picture, it seems like he pulled off the scam to perfection. Because, he could still end up with everything he ever wanted in the end if everything goes through according to plan in this next phase.

Pedro Cashing in on American Dream?
Along with all of this, Chantel Everett may still be financially responsible for Pedro if she sponsored him to get a green card following the government granting his K-1 visa. So if nothing else, she may have to fork over some of the $257k she took out of their joint account to keep Pedro comfy. Because, divorce doesn’t automatically invalidate that financial responsibility.
And in the end, if Pedro gets his mother and sister here – with a means to support them with his new real estate career – it can be argued that the Dominican man played the system (and his soon-to-be ex-wife) like a fiddle. Well played, Pedro. Well played.

Yes it worked he is and comes from Scum. His mama and sister are trash and users. He is a self-centered piece of crap that Chantel should have never married.
He used her to come here and make money. Once he got a job and felt secure being in the U.S. he was going to look for someone else and get out of the marriage.
I could tell that he was NEVER IN LOVE WITH HER.
She had a lot of love for him and kissed his A$$. I hope she sees him for what he really is an ignorant user and I hope she never goes back to him and realizes she is so much more of a beautiful person than he will ever be. He is scum and will always be scum.
He is a piece of garbage. He treated her terrible and had the divorce planned out. What a creep. I hope he gets his. Sob.
Agreed…Chantel’s family are WAY too intrusive as well, but at least their meddling comes from a place of love and concern for her. Pedro’s mother and sister are COMPLETE TRASH and their meddling comes from their money-grubbing, whorish ways. UGH! I can’t stand them, and now we see Pedro’s true colors…he and his sister were raised by a totally narcissistic, POS puta, and they don’t even recognize it. Chantel should RUN FOR THE HILLS…
