90 Day Fiance Season 9 Introduced Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone

90 Day Fiance watchers first met Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone in the currently-airing season of the franchise. And in a lot of ways, it has been red flag central the more fans get to know them.

Patrick Mendes is very much a meathead, bachelor frat boy. As for Thais, she comes across as a trophy wife, with the attitude and expectations to match. So right from the get-go, there were things about their relationship that rubbed viewers the wrong way.

Thais Controlling – Wants to Know Patrick’s Location and Finances

Recent 90 Day Fiance episodes revealed that Thais tracks Patrick’s location through his phone. She doesn’t trust him because he kissed another girl early on in their relationship. Meanwhile, finances are another thing the couple fights over.

First of all, Patrick and his brother had a typical bachelor pad setup before Thais arrived in America. And it was clear based on her reaction that she didn’t like it. Meanwhile, she wants to know how much money Patrick has, including receipts.

According to her, she says it’s something she needs to know because she will be Patrick’s wife. But most 90 Day Fiance fans believe she wants to know so she knows how much she can spend.

On the other side of that coin, many viewers point out that Patrick is extra secretive with her, leading many to wonder if he is doing something shady. In addition, others felt it was disrespectful when he threw his credit card and cash at her.

Are 90 Day Fiance Pair Still Together?

With all the drama playing out so far in scenes between Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone, many viewers wonder if the couple is still together. Even though they are still a long way from being married in current scenes, Thais lists Patrick as her “fiance” on social media. Likewise, Patrick says he is “engaged” to her on his profile. So if nothing else, that certainly seems like a good sign that they are still an item.

Of course, there’s also the possibility that they do this to keep up the charade if they did, in fact, split. As fans know, TLC tries to keep relationship spoilers as close to the vest as possible until after the Tell-All airs. So if there is trouble in paradise, saying they are engaged on social media could be a way to misdirect their followers until after the Tell-All.

Indeed, 90 Day Fiance fans won’t know for sure until after the Tell-All airs. But, taking things at face value, it certainly seems like Thais and Patrick are still a couple.
