In 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 5, it’s no secret that Kimberly Menzies is smitten with Usman Umar. Meanwhile, Sojaboy seems more head over heels for his PlayStation and more TV time than he is for Kimberly. And because Usman has been through this before with Lisa Hamme, viewers have been skeptical of his intentions since TLC announced he would be making a return.
As 90 Day Fiance watchers know, Usman Umar benefits from keeping himself in the public eye. In addition to touting his alleged Cameo earnings, being in more TLC scenes allows the Nigerian man to further his brand and reach more people. So, from a purely strategic business standpoint, it makes sense to milk as much screen time as possible. Meanwhile, the latest scenes quickly divide fans.
Kimberly Menzies Desperate – Throws Herself at Usman
As 90 Day Fiance watchers saw in the last episode, things came to a head for Kimberly Menzies and Usman Umar over his refusal to be intimate with her. After taking the time and effort to travel and meet Usman, it’s no secret that she is in a rush to do the deed between the sheets. But the entire scene was uncomfortable and cringeworthy for several reasons, according to fans.
On the one hand, some 90 Day Fiance watchers called Kimberly Menzies out for her predatory behavior. And even Usman’s ex, Lisa Hamme, chimed in. According to Babygirl Lisa, Kimberly demanding sexy time and throwing herself at Usman is something that will “haunt” her.
Meanwhile, Lisa Hamme pointed out the double standard of how things would be different if someone like Big Ed were in Kimberly’s shoes, demanding intimate favors from someone who is adamant about not wanting that. Of course, some viewers clapped back at Lisa by bringing up her shady history with Usman. But, for many, her point hit the mark.
On the other side of that coin, though, 90 Day Fiance watchers also slammed Usman Umar for stringing Kimberly along – including knowingly accepting gifts and other perks with seemingly no intention of developing a serious relationship with her. Either way, no matter what side of the debate viewers stand on, it’s certainly a heated topic right now.
90 Day Fiance Celeb Addresses Recent Controversy
With all of the heated back and forth surrounding these latest cringeworthy 90 Day Fiance scenes, Kimberly Menzies chimed in with her take on how things went down. She told her followers that she is “aware” that the most recent TLC episode shows her in a “very negative light”.
In addition, she went on to say that she has “no excuses” for her behavior and that she is “embarrassed” by her actions and how they came across on-camera. But, overall, she seems resigned to take her lumps, so to speak – as long as viewers aren’t attacking the lumps on her body.
While Kimberly Menzies seems ready to embrace the fallout from her actions, the one thing she asked of 90 Day Fiance viewers is that they don’t attack her body and/or “fat shame” her.
Either way, these latest scenes between her and Usman generate a lot of conversation among fans – and it’ll be interesting to see where public opinion ultimately falls once the dust from this situation settles.
