Matt Roloff Reveals More About Latest Scare

As Little People Big World watchers can agree, a fire can be devastating – not to mention scary. And Matt Roloff filled his followers in on the “scary story” that went down at Roloff Farms. According to Matt, they “dodged a bullet” after their 110-year-old “sweet building” caught fire.

So from the looks of things, the situation could have been a lot worse. And, many watchers are thankful that’s not the case. Matt said that at one point, smoke was “pouring out the sides” of the barn. Luckily, the chickens were not in there at the time. Still, according to Matt, the flames were as high as six feet. So it was certainly a terrifying situation for all.

What Caused the Little People Big World Fire?

Matt Roloff told his followers that a “light falling to the floor” caused the blaze – likely when the chickens rushed to get out of their “automatic door” in the morning. But, apart from some “interior damage”, Matt said that the “barn was saved”.

In addition, “no chickens were injured in the event”, according to Matt. So, thanks to the quick thinking of farmhands on the scene and the quick response of the local fire department, Roloff Farms comes out in much better shape than it might have otherwise.
